Active Valve Control (AVC) module, this product wires into the Canbus feed and changes the default values for when the exhaust valves open and close.

Once installed this module will be instantly activated and the operation will be changed based on the current drive select mode. The values programmed into it are preloaded and cannot be changed.

The default values will be adjusted to match the below:

  • Comfort mode = Valves closed up to 5k RPM
  • Auto mode = Valves closed up to 3k RPM
  • Dynamic mode = Valves opened all the time.
  • 4 cylinder mode = Valves closed in all drive modes

In addition to the above, the module will also force the valves to be closed on cold start (normally open).

Lastly, this product features a manual override to open the valves on demand regardless of drive mode, this can be achieved by pressing the ESP button twice within 2 seconds. Repeat this to deactivate and return to normal operation.
