The TMC TD04L Hybrid Turbo Kit is a proven, high-performance upgrade developed specifically for the Abarth Punto Evo and Grande Punto platforms. Based around the reliable TD04L-PHASE 1 hybrid turbo, this kit delivers strong, responsive performance and supports up to 260 BHP with the correct supporting modifications.

It’s an ideal solution for fast-road and track-capable builds where reliability, spool response, and usable power are the priority.

Engine-specific requirements:
• 1.4 T-Jet (Grande Punto):
 – Forged pistons and rods recommended for higher output builds
 – Upgraded camshafts required for 270+ BHP

• 1.4 MultiAir (Punto Evo):
 – Upgraded camshafts required for 240+ BHP

Brake and suspension upgrades are strongly recommended to safely manage the increased performance.

TD04L-PHASE 1 Hybrid Turbocharger
Genuine Mitsubishi core, professionally balanced
Red hard-anodised 7075 aluminium (Ergal) compressor impeller
860 °C continuous temperature rating (920 °C peak)
Integrated actuator
De-cat downpipe
(Optional sports catalyst available separately – may limit peak power)

MultiAir-specific components (Punto Evo):
Blow-off valve relocation adapter (included)

Modified oil hose, oil spacer bolts, and water hose cap

Bosch 390 cc injectors
(not included for Punto Evo – not required)

Bosch 3 bar MAP and boost sensors
(not included – Punto Evo models are factory-equipped)

Euro 6 kits include an uprated Pierburg valve for improved boost stability.

Flanges, gaskets, clamps, bolts, nuts, and all required fitting hardware are included.

Technical Background

This turbo kit is developed in partnership with Saito Italy, the authorised European distributor for Mitsubishi turbochargers. Based on the TD04L-PHASE 1 core, the design offers reliable boost control, excellent durability, and consistent performance across road and track use.

Capable of approximately 235 BHP at 1.1 bar, and up to 260 BHP at 1.7 bar with the correct supporting hardware and engine setup.
