Sound

The Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line transforms the GR Yaris™s three-cylinder engine with a distinctive, race-inspired exhaust note. At the heart of the system, a cast titanium collector”crafted in Akrapovič™s in-house foundry”optimises and balances gas flow, creating a finely tuned acoustic experience free from droning. This design works in harmony with three precisely positioned resonators”two located behind the collector and one in the middle pipe”to deliver a deep, engaging tone that complements the engine™s character.

Engineers placed a special emphasis on acoustics across the rev range, ensuring a high-frequency tone at higher rpms and a more dynamic, pronounced sound during idle and revving. This enhanced sound profile is further shaped by twin megaphone-shaped titanium tailpipes, larger than stock at 110 mm, which amplify the sporty tone while adding visual impact. 

Performance

Inspired by its rally heritage Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) is engineered to optimise the GR Yaris™s performance while maintaining everyday usability. By reducing back pressure and enhancing exhaust flow system allows the three-cylinder engine to operate more efficiently, delivering sharper throttle response, stronger acceleration, and a more dynamic driving experience.

Akrapovič™s dyno testing confirms measurable gains, including a power increase of +4.8 hp and +3.6 ft-lb of torque at 6,950 rpm. Additionally system reduces weight by 6.8 kg, making it 48.3% lighter than the stock exhaust. These benefits improve agility, cornering precision, and overall handling”all achieved without the need for ECU remapping, ensuring seamless installation and compatibility with the factory setup.

For those seeking even greater performance optional Evolution Link Pipe (Stainless Steel) removes the OPF/GPF and further optimises exhaust flow. When paired with the Slip-On Race Line, it delivers combined gains of +11.6 hp at 6,150 rpm and +9.7 ft-lb of torque, alongside an additional weight reduction of 17.4%.
