AIRTEC Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Audi TT RS 8J

AIRTEC are proud to introduce the front mount intercooler upgrade for the Audi TT RS (8J).

Designed to fit all models, this free-flowing intercooler is a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM set up.

Featuring a huge 120mm core design together with high-flow, cast end tanks, the AIRTEC intercooler offers much greater surface area, efficiency and volume over standard. Despite this improvement, it fits neatly behind the original bumper and can be used with the original hoses.

The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the correct fixtures and fittings, step-by-step instructions with pictures and should take around 3-4 hours to complete.

The intercooler is available in a choice of either Natural Silver or Pro-Series Black finishes, with or without the AIRTEC logo.

Crash bar options:
The original Audi crash bar will need modifying to fit this intercooler upgrade. If you feel your DIY skills are up to the job, this can be cut yourself. Or we can supply a pre-modified crash bar for a charge.

Option 1: Without optional Crash bar – If your DIY skills are up to scratch, why not give it ago yourself Requires existing crash bar to be cut and welded.
Option 2: With Crash bar – Modified Crash bar comes powder coated and pre-cut ready to fit.

Run 1 – Temperature in: 117 degrees – Temperature out: 69 degrees
Run 2 – Temperature in: 117 degrees – Temperature out:68 degrees
Run 3 – Temperature in: 119 degrees – Temperature out: 78 degrees

AIRTEC Motorsport Intercooler:
Run 1 – Temperature in: 116 degrees – Temperature out: 36 degrees
Run 2 – Temperature in: 117 degrees – Temperature out: 36 degrees
Run 3 – Temperature in: 118 degrees – Temperature out: 37 degrees
