Our software is developed fully in-house and benefits from years of real-world testing. Home flashing is available for many models via the Powergate 4 device, making tuning from your own driveway easy and efficient. Every calibration is crafted to ensure optimal power delivery, driveability, and long-term engine health.

⚙️ Software Options Explained

TMC Stage 1
Stage 1 software requires no hardware modifications. If your car is fitted with a performance intake system — such as ITG, Forge Motorsport, BMC, or DNA Racing — this can be factored into your calibration.

TMC Stage 2
This stage is designed for cars with additional supporting hardware including a downpipe, intercooler, and intake system.

TMC Stage 3 (Only available at TMC HQ in Northern Ireland)
Stage 3 requires everything from Stage 2, plus a hybrid turbocharger such as our TD04L Hybrid, Garrett GT1446 Hybrid, or TMC K-250 Hybrid. This software is designed to support our most popular Power Packages, including our 285 BHP setup.

TMC Bespoke (Price on Enquiry – Available only at TMC HQ)
For customers requiring more advanced tuning, our Bespoke software supports setups involving inlet manifold scaling, camshaft lift, and other complex modifications. Please get in touch to discuss your build.

🏠 Home Flashing with Powergate 4

Powergate 4 is our preferred handheld programmer that allows you to reflash your ECU from home. The tool arrives ready for your tuned and original files, and the interface is simple to use.

Once your original ECU map is read and sent to us, we’ll return your tuned file within 1–3 working days.

If you prefer to send us your ECU, we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery or DHL Express with insurance. Return postage (insured) is included in the cost.

Shipping charges are fully covered when selecting the Home Flash Tool option.

The Powergate app is compatible with the most widely used smartphone operating systems: iOS, Android, and EMUI, offering an intuitive tuning experience through vehicle performance customization. Once paired with the smartphone, it allows access to modified files on the Cloud.

⛽ Fuel Requirements

All TMC ECU calibrations require a minimum of 97 RON fuel. We recommend 99 RON where possible (Shell V-Power, Tesco Momentum, etc). If 97+ RON fuel is not available to you, please contact us before purchasing so we can advise.
