Installation is straightforward. On some Abarth 500 models, a small metal tooth on the factory shaft needs to be filed down. This takes a few minutes and doesn’t affect the ability to refit the original knob later. The TMC knob secures in place with a discreet grub screw on the shaft for a firm and reliable fit. On later models, typically Series 4, the OEM knob can be much harder to remove, but it is still possible with patience and care.
