This Mini Cooper S / JCW remote control valved performance exhaust is made in 3"/76.2mm pipework and fits from the catalytic converter section backwards (Cat-back) these exhausts replace the centre and rear sections.

The resonated exhaust option includes the centre silencer and has a subtle but sporty tone. This exhaust however, is also available as a non-resonated version which is a louder option as it removes the centre silencer.

This performance exhaust includes an integrated valve which is operated by a keyfob. When switching modes, your exhaust tone will swop from quieter to louder tones to suit all situations.

All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.

This part can be fitted with a Cobra Sport sports cat / de-cat downpipe (Cobra cat back fitment option) to form a full turbo back performance exhaust upgrade (see related items).

The latest offering from performance exhaust specialists, Cobra Sport, is this remote-controlled valved cat-back system for the sporty MINI Cooper S and JCW. With proven gains in power and torque, it's the perfect addition to any MINI F56 – with the added bonus that the sound can be modulated from within the vehicle.

A new remote-controlled setup allows the driver to open the valve via the supplied key fob for a thrilling, aggressive sound on the open road, or to close it when cruising. With the valve open the sound is amplified with a deeper tone and more audible pops and bangs. On a 4,000 rpm track test, with the valve open, it measured 92.4dB (+13%) and 88.1dB (+8.5%) when closed.

Manufactured from high-quality T304 stainless steel and TIG-welded utilising 3in (76.2mm) mandrel-bent pipework, this cat-back system has been designed to deliver optimum gas flow - unleashing the potential of the Cooper S and JCW. Choose from either resonated or louder non-resonated format, with ceramic coated black and carbon fibre tips available as an option.

For those looking to take things further, the system may be ordered together with the new Cobra Sport high-flow sports cat or de-cat pipe (track use only). With further software and hardware upgrades, this full turbo back system paves the way for significant power and torque gains.
