The Linear 18 Elite lamp included in this kit are made in the UK by Lazer Lamps to the very highest quality. A robust alloy housing and virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens allow the Linear 18 Elite to withstand the harshest of conditions so they will deliver optimum performance and looks for many years to come.

Where the vehicle has Xenon or LED headlights as standard, it may not be possible to detect a 12V high beam signal. In these instances it will be necessary to complete the electrical installation using a Lazer CAN Interface.

What Is Low Beam Assist.?

The low beam assist function uses additional LEDs to create a huge spread of light for superior short to mid range visibility when the high beam is switched off. The 64° left/right light spread illuminates the roadside and corners like no other lamp for the safest night time driving experience. Two photoelectric sensors are utilised which monitor the road ahead 30x per second and react to oncoming traffic or other obstacles by changing the beam pattern so as not to dazzle. Once the car(s) are past the beam returns to the full spread. The lamp kit is supplied with a switch which can be used to disable the low beam assist function is required.

Where the vehicle has the LED Matrix headlight system as standard, it may not be possible to detect a 12V high beam signal. In these instances it will be necessary to complete the electrical installation using a Lazer CAN Interface.
