Sound

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line transforms the auditory experience of the BMW X3 M and X4 M. Specifically tuned for the in-line six-cylinder turbo engine system enhances the volume sensation while delivering a progressively rich and dynamic tone as the revs climb. The sound builds naturally through the rev range, offering thrilling acoustic feedback during gear shifts while completely eliminating any unwanted drone. This balance ensures a satisfying exhaust note for spirited driving, without sacrificing everyday refinement.

Performance

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line delivers measurable performance gains by reducing back pressure and optimising gas flow. With a weight reduction of 9.5 kg (41.1%) compared to the stock M Sport exhaust, it improves vehicle agility and balance, enhancing both handling and throttle response. Akrapovič dyno testing confirms power increases of +7.3 hp at 6,550 rpm and +9.4 ft-lb of torque at 3,400 rpm. These improvements elevate acceleration and driving dynamics across the entire rev range, making the vehicle more responsive and engaging to drive.
