AIRTEC Motorsport Induction Kit for Mini R56 Cooper S

Please note: This kit is designed to fit the 2006 to 2010 N14 engine model. If your car has the later N18 engine with a MAF sensor located in the induction pipework, you will have to trim the induction hose down to fit.

As part of our expanding Mini product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our induction kit suitable for track or fast road use.

Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving the car’s original air intake system to allow more flow, which improves performance, response, sound and aesthetics within the engine bay.

Our design replaces the upper part of the original air box with a laser cut alloy housing in a powder coated black finish. This allows our large, free-flowing foam air filter to fit in place and connects to the original intake pipe with a high quality Pro Hoses silicone hose and alloy intake connector.

To ensure under bonnet heat soak issues do not occur, the air filter housing is fed a constant flow of fresh air through the shroud that attaches to the underside of the bonnet and guides air from the car’s original bonnet scoop directly onto the filter.

The result is a kit that offers increased power, improved throttle response, heightened induction noise and a more pleasing look to the engine bay.

The kit is a direct replacement and comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instructions.
